👻🎃 Spooky Halloween Dinner Ideas 🕸🍲

Hello Friends!

Last week we had a spooky Halloween dinner with cousins and it was SO much fun! I love that food can be nourishing, but also a lot of fun with just a little creativity.

Today I'm sharing tips and ideas to throw your own fun Halloween dinner.

Spooky Halloween Dinner

To start, create a menu that’s both spooky and fun. These are some of our favorite Fall recipes and ways to make them feel spooky.

Chili

Chili just screams Halloween to me. There are so many different types of chili and its fun to try new kinds.

Tips: Serve your chili from a crockpot to keep it warm. Create a topping charcuterie for a fun way to set out all of the different chili toppings!

Sides

Cornbread is for sure our favorite to have with chili. If you aren't a cornbread fan, my homemade rolls are just as easy to make and so soft and fluffy. We love this spinach salad and it adds freshness to the meal.

Tip: We made our cornbread into mini muffins and decorated with jewel spider rings. Use a skeleton mold to make mozzarella skeletons for your salad!

Halloween Tray

This is the fun part! We took elements of this fun snack tray to serve with our dinner.

Tip: Adding candy eyes makes everything more fun and makes it easy to whip together!

Dessert

We kept it simple and made some fun kid friendly desserts that aren't too sweet and not overly complicated.

Tip: Wait to put the whip cream and sprinkles on the parfaits until just before serving.

Decorations and Fun Elements

You don't have to break the bank to add some fun elements to your Spooky Halloween Dinner. I put together some of my favorite items for you that make Halloween so much fun!

Creating memories around food can be so impactful on your kids. I hope you can use some of these ideas to have a fun and memorable Halloween this year!
